Hotel Indigo Panama City Marina by IHG

The location was perfect, with a lovely pier walkway, a beautiful Gulf view, and shops and restaurants downtown within walking distance. The hotel was nice, and I’d stay again, but I’d skip breakfast. We paid for breakfast as part of the room price. The waitress was pleasant, but our order was wrong. It had already taken so long to get the eggs and bacon that we didn’t want to wait for a replacement. The chef cooked the eggs on a griddle that was much too hot, and one was so overdone I couldn’t eat it. The milk was sour, and the waitress didn’t come back until it was time for her tip, so we couldn’t tell her. If you pay separately, two plates of eggs and bacon and one glass of milk cost $38.91 plus tip.

We loved the location, and it was an easy walk to all the downtown Panama City shops. Isidora was especially sweet and fun, and she’s a fabulous bartender with great dinner menu recommendations. The hotel was clean and the rooms were roomy. We’ll definitely stay again.

The grouper with crab downstairs was fantastic, and the crab cakes at both restaurants are a must. The upstairs restaurant's wage sliders were fantastic too. This was our first stay, and we loved the location, both excellent in-house restaurants, and the friendly, welcoming staff. We’ll definitely be back!

Oshane, the night guy at the front desk, made my arrival easy. He was friendly, professional, and helpful, answered all my questions clearly, and handled check-in efficiently. His positive attitude and great customer service made me feel welcome. Thanks for making the visit smooth and pleasant!
