Aspen Cove resort

I’m very disappointed, especially since my original post disappeared without a response. We’d booked the Lakeview Cabin in early June for a stay in mid July, then got an email on July 3 saying the resort was temporarily closed and wouldn’t honor our reservation. But a post the following week mentioned a family reunion at the entire resort. It makes me wonder if our booking was cancelled to make room for a full house paying more. That’s no way to run a business.

The staff took time to get us comfortable driving the boat, which we really appreciated since neither of us had done it in ages. The boat was clean and in good shape, with technology to help us find fish and a feature to stop us drifting when we found a spot we liked. The lake itself was gorgeous, fish were jumping, and we got to relax and have a blast. We were celebrating our anniversary at Panguitch Lake and had spotted Aspen Cove Resort online. It’s on the other side from the other resorts and boat rental places, so we passed several before getting there. If the drive makes you think you’re lost, just keep going around the lake. We’ll definitely come back and rent a pontoon again. Thanks to the Aspen Cove staff for the great memories!

EDIT: I appreciate the response, but you still didn’t text, call, or email back, and you didn’t respond to the Facebook post on the page you’re active on. I booked a boat through the website and was told two weeks before my reservation that it was cancelled and I’d get a refund. Nobody ever answered my calls, texts, emails, or Facebook post, so I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. The resort may be nice, but the ownership is horrendous. Try booking across the lake for much better service.

We spent two nights at Aspen Cove for my birthday this past week, and it was such a beautiful visit. It’s quiet and right on the lake, and this place really is like no other. Jim, Kendra and Lorraine were amazing. Can’t wait to return. And happy birthday, Kendra! Amanda and Daniel Nelson
