Grand Vista Hotel Parachute

Rooms are a bit dated, but they're roomy, have mini fridges, and the value for the price is outstanding. It's very dog-friendly. The onsite restaurant even welcomes dogs with a bowl of water and some food while you eat. On my cross-country trips through Colorado, I won't stay anywhere else.

Right off I-70, it's an easy stop to gas up and get back on the road. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, and the staff are professional and nice. There's a pub with great food and free popcorn, plus a fitness center. The pool and hot tub are amazing, and it's pet friendly. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The person who helped us was really nice, and the service was great. There’s a pub in the lobby with free popcorn. Our room had two beds and a decent bathroom, though the bathroom was a little small, plus a small coffee table in the corner. The room was a good size for two beds. The pool was a bit cold, but the hot tub was great and had toys for kids.

The internet was very fast, and my room was clean with no lingering smells. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my two-night stay. One thing to know: the shower water is very hard, so bring clarifying or chelating shampoo for your hair. I was just passing through, and Parachute doesn't have much to offer, so knowing that ahead of time I might have chosen somewhere like Rifle instead.
