Motel 8 Plus

We asked for a family room online, but the room we got had just two queen beds for our group of five, two adults and three kids. The room next door had three beds. The place was disgusting, and the staff were awful. We asked for extra towels because there were only enough for two people, and the guys gave us a major attitude. When we asked about maid service, both men said they didn’t have it. Check-in was a joke too, since you have to do it inside the store. You get what you pay for, I guess. Take our advice and never stay here. Spend extra for somewhere nicer and cleaner.

We only needed somewhere to sleep and shower, and it did the job. It’s about a third the cost of other hotels on the Strip, so the price is hard to beat. Still, it wasn’t very clean, and it seemed like people often use the place for prostitution. Apart from that, it wasn’t too bad.

The place is dated, but it still has that old Vegas hotel feel, and it’s worth what it costs. The staff treated us like family and were friendly and helpful as long as you’re polite. I had two big dogs, and that wasn’t a problem. One of them accidentally broke a window, but they understood and didn’t charge us extra. I felt safe, which matters most to me. I’d stay again. If you want an affordable Vegas trip, come here. Anyone having problems must have been a$$ h@>&$.

We had decent service from the night shift, and the gift shop was enjoyable for a place like this. But my wife and I each had cockroaches crawl on us twice. I woke up after one had crossed my face and gotten into my hair. I gently knocked it off to see what it was before killing it. At least there were no bed bugs.
