Rodeway Inn

The front desk staff were friendly, but they’re short staffed and don’t rent rooms between 12am-5am, even with a reservation. It was my first time staying here, and my room hadn’t been cleaned at all. I had to check twice that I hadn’t walked into someone else’s room. There was a dirty towel on the sink, the bed was NOT made, and it didn’t smell clean. Sadly, it was the middle of the night and I had no choice but to stay.

The double bed room was spacious, and the room accommodations were as stated. But we didn’t get the breakfast or in-room coffee that was promised, and you have to ASK for towels. For the price, there’s not much to show for it. The hallways smelled of smoke despite the non-smoking notice. The room also didn’t look cleaned: there were water splatter marks on the mirror, and my dog sniffed around every blanket corner and seemed to smell pet urine, wanting to mark it.

The place was dirty and smelled like cat pee. After we arrived and got our room, we went out for dinner, then came back to find they’d rented it to someone else. When I asked for my money back, she refused, so we were forced to stay in another room she said was nicer. I told her they should have given us the nicer room in the first place. Horrible place!

The maintenance man was the only good part of this place. He was sweet and always positive. The owner came across as a miserable man who seemed not to like anyone. I was there with my two children, and the mattress was disgusting. It had such bad brown orange stains that they were soaking through the sheets. There was no refrigerator, so most of my food went bad. I was on the second floor with a stroller and two car seats. Unbelievable.
