Virgin Hotel Las Vegas, Curio Collection by Hilton

Mark and Miriam at the front desk were especially helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. They made sure our rewards points, Hilton benefits, and Hotel Collection perks were all applied correctly, which made a good stay even better. The staff around the hotel were welcoming and professional. We booked through the American Express Hotel Collection, and our Hilton Gold benefits were recognized too, which helped us get more value from the stay. The property was clean, the pool area looked beautiful, and the room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The views were immaculate. It has a great atmosphere, close enough to the Strip action but still peaceful. We really enjoyed staying here and would gladly come back to Las Vegas. Highly recommended!

The main thing management should fix is the room listings. Nearly every site, including their own, shows similar photos for different rooms, so it’s hard to tell what you’re actually booking. Someone could spend an afternoon matching the pictures to the right rooms and make it easier for people to choose. We stayed the last week of December. The place was nice and a fair value, with modern rooms and just a few minor signs of wear. Free self-parking is a big plus. The location worked well for us, close enough to enjoy the Strip but far enough away to avoid the crowds. There are also a decent number of places to eat within walking distance. I’d stay here again at a fair price, especially with the free parking.

The hotel has a refreshing smell, cherry decor, and a smoke-free casino, which gives it a different, modern feel. I was there for work and short on time. The bathroom was spacious, with a decent showerhead and good pressure. Breakfast at The Kitchen was included, with healthy options and pretty much all-you-can-eat bacon. Don't quote me on that...

We were disappointed that the pool wasn’t open, and nobody told us when we booked. The room was hot the whole time, even with the air con set to its lowest, though the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was lovely and spacious. Housekeeping were lovely too. The casino was great. We ate at the Pizza place and really liked it, and Lucia Mexican was good as well. It’s a lovely newly renovated hotel, though the location wasn’t the best. Since this was my fifth time in Vegas from Australia, that didn’t bother me much.
