The room itself was okay for our one night, nothing fancy, but two of the three towels were badly stained. It was after midnight, we were on the 4th floor, and reception was on the other side of the hotel, so we made do with one towel. Construction was going on throughout the property. The elevators near our room were closed, and later the other elevators were out of order. An employee went upstairs by the stairs, rode the elevator down, then sent us up in it. Only when we reached our floor did we see the out of order sign. She saw it too and still took a risk with our safety. If we'd known, we would have taken the stairs. We paid over $200 for the night and expected better service and accommodations, especially this close to the Strip. The immediate area wasn't appealing to us, with rundown motels nearby and many homeless people around. We had planned for a $30 early check-in fee and arrived early, but the charges were confusing. They first charged $84 total for early check-in plus a refundable $50 deposit, then charged the room cost. The day after we left, there was another $94 charge. They said they'd missed the $10 parking fee when charging for early check-in and the deposit. I was told the $84 would come off in a few days and the full deposit would be refunded. A few days later the first charge had dropped off, but I got only $23.15 of the deposit back. Staff had apparently failed to charge $26.85 in taxes and fees upfront, so that amount came out of the deposit. If they weren't charging it then, they should have told me it would be deducted instead of saying I'd get the full $50 back.

The room had a fridge, stove, utensils, plates and cups, plus TVs in both the living room and bedroom. Free parking was a nice perk, and the pet fee wasn't too high. The bed was just okay, and the location isn't great, though the monorail is a 15min walk away. The staff experience was the main issue. We arrived 30min before check-in and were asked to pay $30 to get in early, despite paying $250 per night. Nobody told us they would be testing the fire alarms. They were painfully loud, we evacuated, and no one in the lobby explained what was going on. Back in our rooms, the alarms kept going off on and off for 30min. When we finally called the front desk, they said the testing would last 2h. It's nice that the hotel allows dogs, but one guest had left a dog in the room during the test without knowing about it. We also had calls and meetings scheduled and had to miss them.

I like extended stay places because the internet speeds are usually good. This one is close to the Strip and the airport, and I'd prefer room service every 3 days instead of once a week, though I understand why it's weekly. My car tyres were stolen here, and they don't have parking lot security footage. Someone else I met had their car stolen from the property too.

The hotel has a helpful staff, clean rooms, and modern comforts, including free WiFi. It's described as family and business friendly, with a beachfront setting, an indoor pool, and a 24-hour gym. There are two restaurants with excellent Californian cuisine, as well as a restaurant serving American food.
