After a four-hour drive and a day of searching around, all I wanted was a clean room where I could shower and rest. The first problem came at check-in: the front desk woman gave me keys to a room that was already occupied. Thankfully, I didn’t walk in on anything worse. The tub in the room I eventually got was full of hair and spiders and looked like it had never been cleaned. I tried rinsing it out, but the water wouldn’t drain. When I called the desk, she acted like it was my problem. The room was filthy, the service was poor, and I paid $115 for one night. This hotel is a joke. I’ll never stay there again.

We got a really nice king suite. My one gripe: I couldn’t turn off closed captions, and some channels had no sound. Closed captions during the Super Bowl are not what I wanted to watch!

The staff were great, but the room was rough. It felt like a cave because the lighting was so dim, and half the lights didn’t work. The outside door was damaged, with a huge gap underneath that let cold air in and made the room feel unsafe. Paint was peeling and hanging over the shower, falling off while we used it. There was mold in the bathroom and on the air unit too. Breakfast was a joke. There was no coffee either morning, and the orange juice tasted expired.

I’d sworn I wouldn’t come back, but had no choice, and I’m glad I gave it another try. It’s definitely changed owners, and I was very pleased this time. The front desk clerk was so cheerful and pleasant, with a positive attitude that rubbed off on me. Every business needs someone like her. She had a lovely glow. Thank you!

The room was okay, though it could use a little maintenance. There was mold on the caulk along the bathroom floor and scratches on the bathroom door. The neighbors were loud outside their outside-access door, and it happened twice. We called the desk the first time and the noise stopped quickly. The second time, someone else called and they quieted down right away too. The same afternoon/evening desk worker handled both occasions, and we appreciated her efforts.
