Travelodge by Wyndham Parker

Barbara was such a warm, helpful hostess that she almost made the stay worth repeating on her own. The hotel is older and still being renovated. Our bed was very soft, and there was a musty smell, though the ceiling fan helped. The heater and AC kept the temperature steady. The bathrooms seem to need the most work. It wasn’t a terrible stay, just not as good as others we’ve had. We may give it another try once more renovations are done, especially if Barbara is there.

After driving all day from vegas to courtsite, my family and I reached parker.Arizona looking for a room for the night. The only other possible place in town, budget.Inn, was incredibly rude and wouldn’t take our service. Travel lodge treated us very differently: the staff were extremely kind, found us a room, and gave us impeccable service. Five stars.

Barbara was the kindest, most helpful person, and her customer service is why we’ll return. The room was clean, the pool was clean and open until 11 pm, and the ice machine always had ice. Our oversized fridge kept everything cold, and having room to park our boat in the main lot was a real plus. The location is handy, just off the freeway and close to restaurants and the casino. The bathroom needs some work. The shower curtain and rod weren’t installed when we arrived, so we put them up ourselves, and the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up.

Everyone was very nice, but our room was missing a hair dryer and a bedside lamp. The shampoo bottle was empty, too.
