The price was half what other hotels nearby were charging, and the rooms were decent, with good TVs and Wi-Fi. The front desk man was polite. Still, it felt like a dump. The hallways were dark and dingy. We arrived in winter to find the heat off and the room at 57 degrees F. We set it to 70, but only cool air came out. It took about six hours to warm up, so we were cold all night. The window shade was broken and stuck down, and housekeeping banged on my door at 10:30am telling me to leave, even though checkout was at 11. They also photocopied my credit card. I told the front desk manager I didn’t want that done, and he agreed and shredded the copy. I’m concerned that copying cards exposes customers to theft and violates PCI rules, even if it isn’t illegal.

What I got looked nothing like the bright, modern room with a large bed and updated furniture shown on the website. The room was old and poorly kept, and the walls, door, and furniture were visibly worn and dirty. There were insects inside, and the cleanliness was below basic hotel standards. I didn’t feel comfortable or relaxed there. It felt misleading to pay based on those photos and then be put in a much lower-quality room. I expected honesty and a clean place to stay, and instead felt disappointed and taken advantage of. I wouldn’t recommend it unless guests start getting the rooms actually shown online.

We booked two nights here because the hot water at home had frozen and we needed showers. The bathroom was huge and very clean, with impressively strong water pressure. The room was fine and clean, and the bed seemed comfortable, though we didn’t actually stay overnight. Fuddruckers is right next door on 46.

I only stayed because someone I love was at Memorial Hospital, and I should have paid more for a better hotel. I paid 150 for a Friday night and checked in at 10 PM. The woman at the front desk was rude. The place smelled musty, smoky, and disgusting. The hallway carpet was old and taped where it had ripped. I was scared for my safety and put a chair against my room door. I’m completely serious and honest about this, and they’d have to pay me to stay there again.
