Parsons Inn

We needed somewhere for one night while we were in town for a funeral. The room was the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I’d recommend Parson's Inn for a comfortable, clean place to sleep, and we’d stay there again if we’re back in the area.

We booked from home before traveling down from WI. The owner was really nice, and our room was comfortable and very clean. We were in room 114, where the bed was so cozy I fell asleep right away. If you're passing through Parsons, don't miss this affordable, friendly place.

I've been back to this hotel three years running and plan to stay again this year. The rooms have plenty of furniture, plus a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and TV. They’ve done a lot of remodeling over those three years, though the outside may not look like much when you arrive. The rooms are among the cleanest I've stayed in, and the owners are always friendly and accommodating. When I go to Tennessee each year, I’ll keep staying here as long as they have a room available.

I called The Parsons Inn while in town for a funeral and looking for a room for one or two nights. After seeing other hotels' reviews mention bed bugs and roaches, I went with this place, which had pretty good reviews. Nick, the owner, had a king-size non-smoking room available. It was nicely decorated and extremely clean. The sheets smelled fresh, the carpet and bathroom were clean, and the shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water. I’ve stayed in four- and five-star hotels, but they cost three times what Nick charges. The Parsons Inn deserves better than a two-star rating.
