Days Inn Suites by Wyndham Pasadena

The room was dirty and in rough shape. There was gross brown and white spillage on the bed skirt, lamps looked as if they’d been thrown around, and the window shade was broken. The AC leaked, and both the room and hallway smelled strongly of cigarettes.

The four stray cats by the hotel entrance were the only good part of my day. They had dishes of food by the bushes and were very friendly. PLEASE GO LOOK FOR THEM AND HELP THEM. THEY NEED A GOOD HOME. I had to leave after just two hours. The room was moldy, smelled strongly of smoke despite being nonsmoking, and the bathroom floor was wet with water coming up through the tile. It felt awful being in there, and I felt like my lungs were getting sick from the lack of clean air.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever rented, and I definitely wouldn’t return or give it any stars. I’d stayed here years ago and it wasn’t like this. I think the owner changed. This time, everything was very dirty. We were put on the second floor, and the elevator was dirty and smelled of marijuana and cigarettes. The door lock was broken, the smoke detector was sitting on the table, there was a forgotten waffle in the microwave, the table was burned, and the sheets were stained. The door had sagged so badly that we had to lift it to open. When we were going to sleep, there was some kind of problem because two patrol cars were at the entrance.

For someone trying to save a few bucks, it’s definitely worth the price. This is a budget place, and the location isn’t the greatest, but I never felt unsafe. The room smelled and felt clean, the water was hot, and the employees were nice. There were a few wall scratches and the carpet wasn’t perfect, but it was very good for the money.
