It's also close to the convention center and Civic Auditorium, which is handy. The rooms are nice, though some are small, while the ones near the road are much larger. What really sets the hotel apart is the art and unusual design throughout the lobby and rooms. There's a members-only bar to the right of the main entrance, decorated as a themed room with old TVs and speakers lining the walls. One of the coolest hotels I've had the chance to stay in.

The rooms were comfortable, with good shower pressure, lovely-smelling soaps, and cozy beds. The hotel looks clean and modern. A few things bothered me: the ceilings are low, the walls are thin, there's no clock, and the bulky bathroom door blocks the hallway when it's open. I'd stay here again when I'm in Pasadena, unless I can get a better rate at the AC Hotel, which has bigger rooms and is better placed for nearby restaurants.

The room's noisy air conditioner made for a terrible night's sleep, enough to make me avoid this property. Otherwise, there's not much remarkable about it. The rooms are spacious, but the gym only has basic equipment. It's mainly a conference center hotel, though central Pasadena is walkable from here. City garage parking is much cheaper and about a five-minute walk away.

Marie, the food and beverage director, was amazing. Her customer service was outstanding. I had a great stay, the room was clean, and the food was good. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.
