Travelodge by Wyndham Pasadena Central

It’s usually a nice, quiet area, and this is definitely my go-to hotel in Pasadena. The customer service is amazing. They treat you like a person, not just someone paying them. The rooms are nice, and both the AC and heater work great.

My room was very spacious and well insulated from outside noise, with a large, comfortable bed. The new A/C worked well and made no noise. I also liked the bathroom setup: it has two rooms, with a window in the one holding the bathtub/shower and toilet. The hotel is well located on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, though it could use some renovation. Jay, the manager, clearly understands customer service and does his best to sort out the small problems guests run into. When my bathtub clogged or the door card reader stopped reading my card, he had the issues fixed very quickly. The room rates are very reasonable for Pasadena. Travelodge by Wyndham is a very good hotel, and I recommend it.

I stayed here for lightbox and had a really nice time. The room was comfortable, staff were extremely friendly, and the cleaning staff came by every day and did a good job. I didn’t spot any bugs or dirt, and having a bus stop right out front made getting around so convenient. I just wish we could’ve had more than 1 toilet roll at a time and slightly bigger trash cans. Even so, it was well worth the stay, and hopefully I’ll be back next year for lightbox.

I stay here twice a month for business. The neighborhood is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are very clean, though a little dated in style. Jay, the friendly manager, always goes the extra mile to make sure I have a comfortable room. The rates are affordable, and the location works well: just a few blocks from the 210 and 134 freeways. A mile west on Colorado there are trendy restaurants and movie theaters, while heading east takes you to family diners like Dennys.
