We had a great stay and would happily come back. The staff kept us well informed with clear instructions by email and text, and it was easy to get to the lobby and room. There was plenty of parking out back. The trains nearby didn’t bother us at all. Our standard double queen room met expectations, though it could use a dresser or a couple of suitcase racks. We were on the ground floor and heard some noise from upstairs. Setting the in-room unit to keep the fan on gave us steady background sound. We still heard a few things, but nothing disruptive or worth asking for help over. I’d read some negative reviews and didn’t find anything that justified those complaints. The handprints on the wall, for instance, were probably from kids having fun. We’re paying for a service, sure, but anyone can wipe off a few prints.

The location works if you need downtown and restaurants, and the AC was great. Beyond a place to shower and sleep, there’s very little in the way of amenities. All the floors were sticky, and you’ll want earplugs. Trains pass every couple of hours with their horns blaring. We could hear all sorts of things from our room: the restaurant and bar below, people talking nearby, sex in the room next door, a fight upstairs, a TV next door, and an alarm in the room on the other side going off at 4:30 a.m. for 30 minutes.

Hotel Whiskey is a real gem in Pascagoula. The staff made us feel welcome, and the clean, comfortable rooms have a stylish look. The restaurant and bar were excellent, with good food and a relaxed feel. I’d pick it if staying in the area.

We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels on this long trip, and this room was one of the nicest. It was very clean and had modern decor, plus there’s a restaurant right there. Much nicer than Holiday Inn.

The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was inviting during our Labor Day weekend getaway. The location was perfect, and I loved relaxing on the balcony with music drifting over from nearby shops. On our last morning, I even saw musicians playing live outside. We’ll definitely book again.
