Emma's Bed and Breakfast

Breakfast was filling and delicious, and our room was roomy, spotless, and comfortable. Ron welcomed us warmly along with Zeke, his lovely dog, who won us over straight away. Talking with Ron was one of the best parts of the visit. His stories were entertaining and made the stay feel personal in a way we’ll remember. The house was easy to find and had plenty of parking, so getting settled was simple. My husband and I spent one night at Emma’s and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area or riding the Little Miami Trail. It’s comfortable, welcoming, and charming.

The Sydney suite had a glamorous feel, with fluffy pillows, plenty of blankets, comfortable beds, and a smaller bedroom that was just right for an afternoon nap. Ron even prepared the fireplace, so I got to enjoy my first fire right in our room. The house is full of history and cozy charm, beyond what we expected from a B&B. Ron is delightful and had lots of unique stories to tell. We even went out for brunch to hear more. And there’s Zeke, an adorable labradoodle to cuddle with. If dogs aren’t your thing, he can’t get to you on the porch or inside the house. We made memories here that’ll stay with us for a lifetime. There’s plenty nearby to explore, including the caverns, Hartman rock garden, nearby castles, antique malls, parks for hiking, and a movie theater. Highly recommend, 10/10. We’ll be back!

We used the back deck for our leadership retreat meetings, helped along by perfect weather. Ron was easy to talk to and clearly cares about his guests. He was also very accommodating when we had specific requests about meeting times. We rented the whole house, and the retreat was exactly that, a real chance to focus. The rooms were large, clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent each morning. The house keeps its original charm while offering some modern amenities. I absolutely recommend it.

I rented the Sydney suite for my wedding weekend so I and the bridesmaids could get ready there. Ron was sweet and accommodating while we spent hours on hair and makeup, and he was available whenever we left the room in case we needed anything. The beds were comfortable, and we had our own thermostat. The groom and I stayed in the suite on our wedding night too. My photographer got some beautiful pictures, and I’m happy to share them once I get them back in a few weeks. ❤️
