Hampton Inn & Suites Pasco/Tri-Cities

The pool and hot tub were closed for painting, but nobody told us before check-in. After a 90 degree day and a day of travel, we’d spent over $200 and were looking forward to those hotel activities for a fun weekend away. They should alert incoming guests. Being told the fitness center was open 24 hours didn’t make up for it. The shower was awful too, with almost no pressure, and the water felt like an iceberg. We checked in online as requested and picked a room, but got a first floor room instead. I prefer the fourth, top floor to avoid noise and foot traffic. A softball tournament made the first floor noisy when we wanted to sleep after traveling all day. They moved us to the third floor, and the evening front desk girl was fantastic about it, so thank you for switching us. With a 4.5 star Google rating, I’d hoped for better. It felt like spending money just to sleep when I could’ve gone somewhere cheaper with comfier beds and a better shower. Joy in hotels, I guess.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a microwave, though the fridge didn’t keep things cold. There was no recognition of status or complimentary coffee and breakfast. A few restaurants are nearby.

There’s plenty you could need within a couple of blocks, and the location is awesome. The rooms felt dated, though. They changed my reservation without telling me, and when I asked about it after arriving, I was told there was nothing they’d do and I could cancel if I wanted. No concern, just take it or leave it. It’s a shame this location doesn’t live up to Hilton’s reputation.

We had a small issue with one of our rooms, but the General Manager, Monica, resolved it quickly and professionally. It’s a great family place to stay, close to the airport.
