Breathtaking place. The staff at the Village are fantastic. It's quiet and private, with a safe pier for fishing. We even found a few Pawley's shells as a little treasure!

It's always a good time here. Love PPV!! I've been coming for over 20 years. It's a safe place for kids, and the pier is great for shade on really hot days.

We keep coming back for a week every year, and have done that for more than ten years. The pier is fun to stroll along any time of day and see what fish are near the surface. Some units have had extensive renovations, updating their 1970s layouts with striking results. It’s a well-kept place in “arrogantly shabby” Pawleys Island, good for a week or even a lifetime. Update 4/2025: still wonderful, right on the beach.

Our extended family joins us at PPV now, and it’s been a place where we’ve made memories for many, many years. Anyone considering a stay might want to look through the photos of each unit on the current rental company’s website. Many comments on this page are outdated or inaccurate: most condo owners have tastefully renovated their own units, and others have made upgrades to make stays more comfortable. There are elevators for guests who have trouble with stairs to the upper floors, which is a real plus. Families can enjoy the beaches right in front of the condos, and renovations to the private fishing pier are planned to begin soon. We’ve been going to PPV for a long time, and I think others will enjoy staying there together too.
