Payette Motel

A basic room, but it was very clean and kept up well. The owners, who run the place themselves, were friendly and attentive. It has that old roadside motel feel.

We could hear rodents running through the walls all night. That was the worst part, and I should've slept in my car. For three people and a dog, it cost 90$. They said it was newly remodeled, but I couldn't tell where. The decor left a lot to be desired, and my son was accused of sneaking in a second dog. He didn't. The owners weren't very friendly. Even in a pinch like we were in, I wouldn't recommend staying here. I'd give it negative stars if I could. Worst place I've ever stayed.

The weekly rate was the most affordable I could find while working in Caldwell as a traveling pipe welder. The motel was small, and I could park right by my front door. It was very clean, with great customer service, and the staff I met on arrival were professional and very nice. Groceries and food were right down the street. Thanks a lot, I'll stay here again when I'm working in the area.

The staff was nice, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. The bathroom was dirty, with dead bugs at the bottom of the tub, and there were candy wrappers everywhere. The phone didn't work, there was no pamphlet with nearby food options, and the beds were uncomfortable.
