I’m still giving them five stars, though getting kicked out and banned from this location has left me confused and probably traumatized. I’d been staying there for weeks and kept hearing a woman and her boyfriend fighting, along with their dog screeching. Eventually it got so bad that I spoke up to the man. I was fleeing an eight-year domestic violence relationship myself, so it was triggering. I tried to mind my business for a while, but couldn’t keep ignoring it. I didn’t argue with him, just asked him to calm down because the neighbors shouldn’t have to keep listening to abuse. They kicked me out for standing up for someone who needed help, then said I couldn’t return. I thought they’d understand, but they told all of us to leave. Maybe the clerks hadn’t heard the fighting before, but I still can’t get the sound of that woman being assaulted out of my head. The staff were great and the cleaning ladies were wonderful people to know, but the man who put me out needs to show some compassion. I’m praying for everyone.

The owners have made a lot of upgrades, and the staff are professional. I stop here during road trips for work, and it suits me well. The rates are reasonable compared with other nearby hotels that are in poor condition and offer no customer service. They also seem very mindful of guest safety.

IF I HAD ANOTHER OPTION I WOULD NOT BE HERE I had to clean the whole room myself before bringing in my bags and fur babies. Housekeeping was so poor that a three-year-old could do better. I don’t know what they’ve remodeled. The weed smell is overpowering, and air freshener hasn’t helped. It’s 26 outside, so I can’t open the door to air the room out, and I wouldn’t feel safe doing that anyway. I’ll be washing the bedding before I sleep under it.

Trey helped me through check-in and patiently showed me how to use the card machine. When my key card didn’t work because I wasn’t using it properly, he promptly rekeyed it and demonstrated how it worked. He handled everything professionally and made the process easy. The bedding was dirty, and the place felt very sketchy. We also saw people selling drugs in the parking lot. When we asked for clean sheets, staff didn't want to give us any, even though the ones in our room were clearly dirty.
