Payson Inn & Suites

The bed was comfortable, but the pillowcases seemed questionable, and I wouldn't stay again. Street noise kept waking me up. The door had big gaps around the frame, so I stuffed folded paper in to keep out cold air and nighttime critters. It didn't feel secure, especially with no deadbolt or chain. The showerheads didn't work well either, and water splashed onto the bathroom floor.

For an inexpensive motel, it was clean and perfectly fine, and I was glad to find it. The gentleman who checked me in was as kind and nice as anyone could be. I could park right in front of my room, which was a real treat. I'd stay here again.

I chose this local place and regretted it. In room 110, the broken thermostat kept switching between heat and AC all night. The bed was awful, just worn-out memory foam. I had to sleep near the edge and keep changing sides. In the morning, I asked for a discount because I got almost no sleep, and he laughed at me. I could say more, but it's a waste of time. I should've slept in my pickup.

The rooms are no-frills cute, as my wife put it, and the bed was comfortable. We also had a good shower and a solid roof over us for the night. It's not a high-end resort, but it's affordable and very clean. The outside looks like it may have been remodeled recently. We'll definitely be back soon.
