We stayed two nights with my wife and daughter over a very busy Valentine's Day weekend, visiting friends in Salem. The front desk and dining staff were laid back, kind, and accommodating. Breakfast was really good, on par with other higher-tier Marriotts I've stayed at, and saved us some money before checkout. The pet policy was reasonable too. It's not luxury, and there's a little paint needed here and there. The pool feels a bit outdated. Still, it's clean, safe, comfortable, and a terrific value for the price. If you're visiting places north of Boston with family, you'll be comfortable here without spending too much. We'd stay again.

The couch with the trundle bed works perfectly for me and my boys, and we enjoy the pool and hot tub too. Breakfast is great. This is my second favorite hotel, with hotel Salem still number one, so I really do think this place is pretty great.

The location right on the turnpike meant getting places could take a bit longer. Our room itself was spacious and clean, and the construction didn't get in the way of our stay. Breakfast was better than I expected. The pool was open, but the hot tub went down after a couple of nights. The toilet was very loud, though I think they're replacing all of them.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the houseman who got us pool towels was great. I wasn't sure why there were no washcloths in my room. Check-in took a while because the guy was hanging out in the back room. This place is way better than the ones I work at. I'll be back.

The room was nice, and the dog policy was simple and easy. The pool area was another story: dirty towels were piled up even though we were the only ones there, and there were dirty band-aids on the tables and chairs. The staff member on arrival was unpleasant every time we dealt with them, though the staff the next day were pleasant.
