The Bell Inn

My son and I had a great stay, and the hotel was ideally placed for visiting Salem, Massachusetts. The service was outstanding, and I loved the thoughtful little touches in the room that made it feel cozy. They offered complimentary coffee and tea, although we didn't eat or drink at the hotel. The Wi-Fi was the one downside. It kept dropping, so my son and I couldn't get through movies at night. The internet could be an issue if you're planning to work from here. Everything else was wonderful, and I'd still recommend the hotel.

The rooms were tidy and the beds were comfortable, and Salem is a quick drive away. There isn't much within walking distance, though. We hadn't been told there'd be a wedding during our Sunday-to-Monday stay, so the cellar was closed for the event. The inn also closes on Mondays, leaving guests without dining options that day. A staff member suggested three nearby restaurants, but all three were closed too, so we had to drive back into town to get food.

The brisket sandwich at the little attached restaurant was delicious, and it was convenient having a restaurant right there. Our stay at The Bell Inn was great. The room and bathroom were spacious, everything was clean and new, and getting into Salem by Uber was quick.

We held our company holiday party at The Bell Inn, and it was a great experience. The space was beautifully decorated, with a cozy, festive feel that made it perfect for celebrating with coworkers. There were lots of food options, and everyone loved the delicious food. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We'd definitely recommend it for a gathering. It was a fun, memorable party.
