The golf cart quit after about half an hour, nearly a mile from the hotel. When my fiancé reported it, no one offered to make it right. They just said that was why they don’t rent them for more than an hour. We also had a bad experience trying to get the room cleaned. I told the desk we had no toilet paper or towels and asked for housekeeping sometime that day, not for anyone to come immediately. The employee didn’t offer even a roll of toilet paper, only said she couldn’t get the housekeeper there faster. When we returned at 8 p.m., the room still hadn’t been cleaned. We were also told a manager might be acting that way because she doesn’t like people trying to talk to her. I have no complaint about the hotel itself, but none of the staff we dealt with were friendly. Asking for anything seemed like an inconvenience.

Just a heads-up for anyone ordering DoorDash, we aren’t allowed to deliver there. It’s not personal, the hotel is concerned about guest safety. The staff are right there, and the property is beautiful.

My previous hotel stay was unpleasant, but Sara at the front desk put me at ease when I arrived here. She assured me I was in good hands, and she’s knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and pleasant. Ask for Sara, she’ll be happy to help! 💕

The biggest drawback was how easily cooking smells traveled between rooms. My neighbor made food with the strongest garlic smell I’ve ever encountered, and I could still smell it the next morning. I changed into different clothes before work because I worried I smelled too much like garlic. I know that wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but the vents connecting the rooms seem like an issue with an older property. I’ve stayed at more than 100 IHG properties as a Diamond member, and I’d come back here despite its age. The bed was very comfortable, the young woman at the front desk was great, and my only other minor complaint was the parking lot.

The front desk staff are always polite and efficient, and there’s a fantastic Carwash across the street. The hotel is cozy, has a nice breakfast option, and is close to everything. I love staying here.
