I've stopped here three or four times over the last few years while driving from North Carolina to Texas with my dog to see family. It's a dependable place, especially if you're traveling with kids or pets. There are lots of restaurants and some entertainment nearby, so sorting out dinner is easy. The staff have been efficient and helpful every time, whether I've checked in around midday or late at night. The rooms are consistently clean, and the area around the building has plenty of grass for walking the dog. Since the property sits back from the main road, there isn't much worry about passing cars. As a young woman traveling, I also appreciated the well-lit walking areas and being able to park close to the building. I felt safe. I'd definitely recommend it to people passing through, especially with a dog.

The location is the one thing I liked: it's close to the outlets and makes it easy to get around. During my three-day stay, I ended up buying supplies at Walmart and cleaning the room myself. It still smelled like urine, probably from a dog. There was hair in the bed, and the mattress was very hard. I was glad I'd brought my own towels, which I'd also bought at Walmart. For one night it might be fine, but for a longer stay I'd pick another hotel.

We paid $178 and found a dirty tub, empty shampoo and body wash dispensers, and no sheets or blankets for the foldout couch. Breakfast was a little fancier than the usual options, but we're not coming back.

We were really disappointed. The room had a strong dog smell throughout, and my child struggled to sleep well all night. We hadn't realized before booking, but the place seemed more suited to dogs than people. I wish that had been made clearer when we booked.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the amenities were convenient. I booked through the Hilton Honors app, which made things easy. I barely needed to speak with staff, and checkout was quick. The front desk associate was professional and friendly, and called me “Mr. Martin.” It wasn't necessary, but it made the moment feel special. I wish I could remember her name so I could recognize her. I stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Pearl, MS, in the Nonsmoking 1 King 1 Bedroom Suite. It was spacious and just right for a very special occasion: I proposed to my fiancée on November 1, 2025. I have nothing against the 1 King Bed Studio Suite, but this one suited the moment perfectly. I decorated with candles and rose petals, and the room looked stunning at night. Right as my woman was about to say “Yes,” the TV switched from “Collide” by Tiana Major9 and EARTHGANG to “Blow Your Speakers Out” by Big Time Rush”. I was a little embarrassed, but it made me laugh and made the stay even more memorable. This was my first hotel review, but I can confidently say Home2 Suites by Hilton in Pearl, MS gave us a comfortable and special stay. Highly recommended! A stay fit for a king.
