Knights Inn Laura Lodge Pecos

The staff went out of their way to help when one of our motorcycles broke down in the parking lot. Two of them helped us get the bikes onto our trailer. After a long ride from Austin, TX, we walked to The King Shark restaurant and had an incredible meal. The rooms were fantastic and super clean, and the area felt safe and friendly. It's set away from highway noise, with several places to eat within walking distance. A real hidden gem in Pecos. If you're passing through, I'd book at this America’s Best Value Inn.

There's a lot of care in this place, right down to the clean landscaping. It's fully remodeled, very clean, and feels like the old-fashioned hotels that took pride in the property and offered real hospitality. The cotton sheets are a nice touch, not plastic ones. It's set off the main road, so it's quiet, and you can crack the windows for fresh air. The heating and air system work perfectly, and the locks are intact. Those things might sound basic, but they're hard to find. A bit of a gem compared with similar motels.

A calm place with a relaxed breakfast. There's a large parking lot for truck drivers, and a swimming pool for families traveling with kids. It seems suitable for all kinds of travelers.

Small, lovely hotel and really good customer service. The pool looked beautiful, though it was too cold for me to swim. I'll stop here again this summer on my way to El Paso.
