Best Western Pendleton Inn

I've stayed here many times and would come back. It's a good price and works well for a quick overnight stop before continuing the drive the next day. The location is perfect for that, and breakfast is good. I do wish the opening in the trash can were wide enough for a plate, though it works fine.

It was quiet and comfortable, and had everything I needed apart from breakfast. It closes at 9, which is why I'm giving it one star. Maybe that's a standard time, but I don't care.

We were driving toward Spokane and stopped at this Best Western to book a room. The woman told us they had sold out the night before and said she'd reserve one without charging us unless we came back. She never mentioned a cancellation fee or said we'd be charged if we didn't return. We decided not to stay, but she charged us anyway. I'll fight the charge, and I won't recommend Best Western again.

The beds were clean and very comfortable, and we couldn't hear the freeway at all despite being so close to it. Breakfast was hot and good, too. But the room needed attention: there was hair left on the shower door and stains on both the lampshades and curtains. I can't wait for the elevator to be installed.
