Liberty Hall Bed and Breakfast

A lovely spot for a relaxing getaway, with real Southern hospitality. Liberty Hall is close to Clemson University and Pendleton's historic downtown, while the gardens are peaceful and the rooms are spacious and elegant. The hosts welcomed us right away, and the whole place feels warm and carefully looked after. Breakfast was delicious and prepared with care. We'd gladly return and recommend it.

We've been to Liberty Hall Bed & Breakfast twice, first in 2024 when we moved our daughter into Clemson, then again this past week to move her out. It's perfectly placed near Clemson University. Check-in and checkout were easy, the rooms were clean, and the atmosphere was friendly. Having breakfast included was a lovely way to start each day. We'd stay again.

The owners were so kind, and the surrounding businesses were great too. We loved being close to the Clemson action while staying away from the noise of campus. We spent some time on campus, tried breweries and really good food, and avoided the parts of college town life parents don't want to think about. The grounds are beautiful, and breakfast is a must. We had a great time and will definitely return.

The bed was excellent, the rooms were comfortable, and there were plenty of covers for chilly nights. Breakfast was wonderful, with good coffee and plenty of it. My one gripe is that a small fridge in the room would be useful for drinks and leftovers we bring along. Ice is available, but it's kept in a restricted area, so you have to contact someone to get it. Still, a really pleasant stay.
