We booked a king and a double queen and asked to have them close together. I called that morning and confirmed they’d be next to each other, but on arrival they were far apart, and we were given two double queens instead. One was a smoking room, which was a problem because my wife is highly allergic to smoke. The desk clerk seemed unwilling to help and insisted we’d received what we booked, even after I showed the confirmation. She eventually moved us to another building with the room types we’d reserved. In the king room, though, the sheets were dirty and had hair on them, and there were dead bugs on the floor. We were fed up and just asked for clean sheets, then changed them ourselves so we could sleep. Wouldn’t recommend.

Mr Michael was awesome and went way out of his way to help me. The rooms are cleaned really well, and I’ve stayed here every time I’ve come back to Louisiana. It’s been great each time. They even let my puppy stay without any questions, and they have smoking rooms. For $65, it’s a pretty good deal.

We had a nice stay, with very clean rooms, a comfortable bed, and friendly, helpful people. There are lots of places to eat close by, so I just walked. I’ll definitely stop here again when we head home after the holidays.

Ms Melinda is great at her job, and the manager and the rest of the staff were amazing too. I had the best stay thanks to all the workers there.
