Quality Suites

We booked three rooms on Friday for Saturday, but arrived at 3:10 p.m. to find they weren’t clean or ready, so we had to wait. The housekeeping was poor once they were done: the floors were still dirty and clearly hadn’t been vacuumed, the bins had no liners, and the rooms smelled strange. The hallways were extremely hot, and one room stayed hot all night. Definitely not worth the money, and I’d never come back.

The beds were extremely firm, so uncomfortable for me that it felt like sleeping on the floor with just two sheets in between. The room was only moderately cool when I arrived, and my own fan helped as the day went on. The AC struggled, and when I checked the vents, they were so dirty I couldn’t see how air was getting through. The hotel looked nice when I first walked in, but the room had a mess in the fridge and on the counter. The counter was sticky, and the fridge barely seemed to run.

We’ve been here nearly three months for work, and even though it’s a little expensive, it’s one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. The rooms are spacious and clean, it’s always quiet, and breakfast is pretty good. The staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful, almost like family after seeing them every day. We’ll definitely be back.

The room was a letdown for the $100 price before tax. It smelled of mildew and mold, and the suitcase stand in the closet was covered in mold. I brought it to the desk and they sent another one. Water damage was obvious, and the bathroom tiles had no grout between them, as if the work hadn’t been finished. Breakfast was very good, though. We’re Choice Hotel members and try to stay with them when we can. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived around 3:30 p.m., despite booking two nights earlier. The front desk clerk was very nice and waited with us for about 20 minutes. It seems the person responsible for recording which rooms were cleaned hadn’t done the job. The clerk upgraded our room for the inconvenience.
