There are restaurants close by, which was a plus, and the front desk was really helpful. The room was spotless, the place felt fresh, and I was never bored. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make it a great stay. I'm loving it here and will definitely come back with my family.

Breakfast was enough to grab a quick bite before heading out, and the location worked really well, close to Dog Day Flea Market and National Park. My room felt fresh and smelled clean. There are stairs, so if those are a problem for you, you can ask for a room on the bottom floor.

The people were quite nice, and so were the rooms, but those beds were awful. I don't think we slept a wink.

We booked this hotel because it was next to the church where my uncle's funeral was being held. When I asked for a one hour late checkout, they said no because they needed to clean for the next guests. There were only seven cars in the lot on a Thursday in Sulphur, OK, so that answer was frustrating. The next morning, the power went out while we were getting ready. We had no lights or coffee and couldn't get in or out of our room. I asked again for an extra hour so we could wait for the power and get ready, but the manager put his hand in my face and yelled, “Absolutely not!” We had to leave early and get ready somewhere else. It was the worst hotel experience of our lives. The room was okay, but it smelled of cigarettes despite being a non smoking room. Water sprayed from about five holes in the shower head, and the towels were crunchy. The outside doors were unsecured all night, which felt very unsafe, especially for women traveling alone. There was nasty, broken equipment in the hallways and laundry room, and breakfast was a joke.

We checked in with my dad around 9:30 p.m. on a Wednesday and paid $133.00 for two beds. After carrying our luggage upstairs, I went to take a shower and found an adult cockroach when I closed the bathroom door. The room was filthy, with yellow stains like urine in every corner, mildew, bug remains, and dog hair. My dad has terminal lung cancer, and I feel like staying in such a dirty hotel may have taken a week off his life. I was afraid the roaches or other pests would hitch a ride home with us, so I carried all our belongings back down to the car. Drive past this Super 8 in Sulphur and never look back. No thanks, boss. You keep them!
