The rooms were clean, everything worked, and they're decent for the price. We only needed somewhere affordable to sleep for two nights. My main gripe was the bed, the mattress wasn't very comfortable and could use an upgrade. The staff were very friendly. It's right in town, so restaurants and shops are easy to walk to.

The room's setup was a little unusual, since one bed couldn't see the TV, but it didn't cause us any trouble. You can tell they arranged it to fit two beds and a bathroom in each room. Manager Matthew was so friendly and kind, and the room was impeccably clean. It's a cute little motel in a beautiful part of town.

Matt M. was terrific during my 13-hour stop, even letting me park my Penske truck right in front of the room. He kept a friendly smile the whole time. I'd pulled in on a whim after packing all morning for a long-distance move, looking for a good value and somewhere I wouldn't worry about my things overnight. The room was clean, quiet, had lasting hot water and no cockroaches. Breakfast was included, and the waffles were the best I've had at a hotel, even compared with places that have full-service restaurants. The fruit was fresh, the coffee was surprisingly delicious, and there were different grains too. I also overheard an older couple say Matt had preheated their room before check-in. Full value for the price. Stayed 11/26.

The room stayed comfortable all night because the air conditioner and heater worked well. The bedding was warm and soft, and there were plenty of towels. Still, the smell was odd, neither pleasant nor clearly bad, and I couldn't place it. The bed was stiff, with just three flat pillows on a queen bed. There was dust or grime in the shower, so I didn't try using it. The single light had no cover, and the wall lamp was broken and bent, with its cord unplugged. Only one outlet was available behind the bed, though a power strip had a few spaces left. There was a mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and an ice bucket that looked like it came from the 90s. I don't think there was a hair dryer. The door lock wouldn't line up unless we pushed the door, and there was no secondary lock. We moved the chair with a cigarette (?) burn in front of the door to feel safer. The neighborhood didn't look sketchy at night, though it wasn't very well lit.

The front desk person was pleasant enough, but made a face and pointed out that the previous owners were Indian, adding, "you know." That made check-in really uncomfortable. The rooms were weird, old, neglected and gross. The heat didn't work in the first room, and the lights didn't work in the next one, so I had to replace the bulbs myself. When I looked out and waved to some people from my doorway, they glared back. Later the desk person told me they were the new management, hired to save money, and that they live there. This was the first hotel I absolutely hated. So many issues.
