Days Inn by Wyndham Pensacola I-10

I only needed a place for one night, and this felt like a stop-and-go kind of hotel. The women at the desk were very nice, but the room had an odd smell and the cleaning seemed surface level. There wasn’t really breakfast, just coffee, orange juice, and little packaged doughnuts. The juice seemed watered down, lol.

I booked a smoking room through Hotels.com and arrived at the hotel on 02/01/2026. They said the room wasn’t available and wouldn’t honor the confirmed reservation. Nobody offered a comparable room or another solution. Since I didn’t get the accommodation I paid for, and the problem wasn’t caused by anything I did, I asked for a refund. The hotel refused and sent me to Hotels.com, which then sent me back to the hotel. I was left without a room and without my money. The hotel accepted the booking but didn’t provide what had been agreed, and then wouldn’t resolve it.

We felt uneasy about the parking lot, where a lot of young men were hanging around. They looked suspicious to us and didn’t seem like hotel guests, so my husband and I told the front desk. The room itself was deplorable, with a chemical smell and a hard bed and pillows.

Update: after I complained about my room, they put me on a national ban list for Days Inn. Luckily, I’m a Wyndham stockholder. The room was filthy, with floors that looked like they never got cleaned, moldy curtains, a dirty microwave, and soiled comforters. Employees live on the property and hang out in the parking lot drinking, smoking weed, and partying, while their children run past the rooms yelling and laughing until after 9 pm. Horrible is the only word for it.
