La Quinta Phoenix West Peoria

The front desk response was excellent, especially considering one person seemed to be handling check-ins, guest requests, and any repairs they could manage. The suite had a separate living area, which was nice, and restaurants, shops, and entertainment were all nearby. But the room badly needs repairs, remodeling, and new furniture, particularly the mattress and seating. Breakfast was mediocre. The location is great, though.

A family of lovebirds lives above the main entrance, and they're fun to watch. The location just off the 101 was easy to find, with plenty of restaurants for breakfast, lunch, or dinner within walking distance, plus nearby shops. Breakfast had a good range of hot and cold choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It's right off a main highway, with plenty of places within walking distance, and parking is free with lots of spaces. The rooms are a decent size. Service is friendly, breakfast is a light free one, and the room is average, just what you'd expect from La Quinta. It's a bit dated in places, maybe the only real flaw. If you expect a resort, you'll be disappointed, but I think it offers exceptional value.

The location is convenient for the sports complex, restaurants, and other services, and breakfast is included. The room and interior badly need upkeep and updating. Our queen mattress was so worn that it had a visible dip in the middle and was really uncomfortable. The rear entry card reader didn't work, so the door was usually held open with a rock. Only one ice machine was working. We stayed five days and had to ask for room cleaning and fresh towels.
