Avoid this hotel. The carpets were sticky and heavily stained, and the breakfast was awful, just Jimmy Dean sandwiches, muffins, and things like that. The elevator inspection certificate was expired too. I saw a group of young adults break into a room on the third floor, then get chased by the room's owner. As we were leaving the elevator, they ran into an elderly woman. I emailed General Manager Curt Baker about it and got an unimpressive reply saying the incident had been addressed with the guests involved. I was involved too, but Curt never asked whether I was okay or how I felt about it. Avoid this place at all costs.

The property is run down, the carpet is stained everywhere, and the pool is broken. It's hard to understand how this place is associated with the Marriott brand. They say lower prices make up for the condition, but replacing the filthy carpet would go a long way. Nobody wants to stay in a dirty room. One of the worst hotels I've stayed at.

The rooms are huge, and the location is great for Peoria, with lots of food options nearby. This is an older Springhill, and it isn't midtown Manhattan. I'm a Marriott convoy member with titanium / platinum status and was hesitant because of the rating, but I've stayed twice in the last four days. To me it's a great value and deserves a 4-star rating, not the 3.2 on Google or below 4 on Marriott.

The rooms are absolutely disgusting. The building's operational manager didn't seem to care at all, and this wasn't news to her. I was told, "all the rooms are going to be the same." If the attached photos show what every room looks like, book somewhere else.

After trying three rooms, I finally accepted one because of the time of night and just wanted to settle in. This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at, and I'd recommend sleeping in your car instead. The manager offered a $20 credit for the terrible service and accommodations. I explained what happened to Marriott Corporate, sent photos, and told them what the manager had offered. Fortunately, they made it right.
