When the heat came on, it was loud and kept waking me up. I ended up putting on warm clothes and turning it off. I'm not sure if it was just my room.

The young woman at the desk was so sweet and helpful. The place has potential, but it needs a deep clean. I picked up supplies at Dollar General and cleaned the room to my liking for my three-night stay. The bed is firm and seemed clean, and I checked by pulling up the covers and mattress. I slept well the first night, so I'm extending through the weekend. The bed and even the pillows were comfortable, it was quiet, and there were no bugs, which is a big plus. There's a fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker or blow dryer. The pool “is broken,” so make of that what you will. I didn't have to pay a deposit, despite seeing that mentioned in another review. Most rooms have a large patio door to the outside, though the doors are in a hallway. My deadbolt is stuck and won't turn, and the inside latch hinge is missing a piece. The room also needs a better supply of towels and washcloths. The housekeeper said they're short; I bought 18 washcloths for five bucks and will leave them. My one towel and washcloth are dingy and thin, but I have my own. Owner, please clean the windows and doors in the rooms and office, and wash the shower curtains with bleach or white vinegar. A little effort would help. The hotel has great potential, but it needs a serious cleaning.

My husband was working hard plumbing in four new hot water heaters to replace the old furnace, and the room they gave us was filthy and smelled like musty water. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling running the full length of the bathtub. I've rarely entered motel rooms this gross. If you're thinking of booking here, take my warning and stay somewhere else to avoid the aggravation. At this place, the best you can expect is mold on the walls and holes burned in the bedding. So nasty.

The mattress wasn't bad, and they did return the $50 deposit, but I wouldn't go back or recommend it. The room was filthy, with floors that hadn't been swept or washed in a long time. The toilet rocked and its seat wasn't fastened down. Towels were tiny and stiff; the sink faucet was loose and the tub faucet leaked at the spout. The water got warm but not hot. The bedspread had cigarette holes, there was no trash can or remote, and plugs fell out of the sockets. There were large gaps at the bottoms of the door frames and roaches everywhere. The price online was wrong. I showed it to the woman, who said a downstairs room was really $20 more, and the only other room available upstairs was for smokers. Outside were a five-gallon paint bucket and used mattresses leaning against a wall. We should have known it would be bad when they had us sign a no-refunds paper after we paid. The owners and management should be ashamed. I sure am.

It's in a good spot next to an Italian restaurant, but I wouldn't stay there again. The soap bars were extremely small and the bath towels were only a little bigger than hand towels. There was no coffee maker, the ice machine was out of order, and the security door to the rooms wasn't there at all. They wanted a $50 deposit and didn't return it until I called a week later.
