Scottish Inn & Suites

The manager and his family are kind, and they'll negotiate the rate if you're a traveling therapist working in the area. Scottish Inns and Suites in Perry, GA is the least expensive hotel around here. The furniture and bathroom are dated, and breakfast isn't much, though it gives you a start in the morning. They provide coffee and a coffee maker in the room, along with some danish. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, with fresh towels and bedclothes and no bed bugs. The microwave, refrigerator, TV, and AC all worked, and the bathroom had hot water.

The staff at the desk were personable, and the gentleman was very friendly. For what you're paying, around $50 rather than $100 a night, I thought it was excellent. I had read the reviews and didn't expect much, but they'd completely remodeled. They removed the carpet and put in washable plank flooring, which was nice. The TV is on the wall, not huge but sufficient since you're only in the room a couple of hours to sleep. There's a $10 per night dog fee, which is extremely reasonable. Breakfast in the morning is very petite, but enough if you're in a hurry.

All I really need from a hotel is a clean room where I can shower and sleep well. This place handled both very well. I don't use amenities much, and the prices were reasonable.

The room wasn't very big, but we hadn't asked for one, and for the price it wasn't bad. The bathroom was nice and clean, with a microwave and small fridge in the room. The sheets were clean, though the bedspreads both had holes and the firm beds were lumpy. The room was clean, but smelled like it had been bathed in baby powder. We evacuated because of Hurricane Milton and found a room at the Scottish Inn. The staff were wonderful. Seeing that my boyfriend is old and had a bad foot injury, they kindly gave us a downstairs room. Thank them and God! You can tell they're trying hard to spruce the place up. I wouldn't mind staying here again.
