Days Inn by Wyndham Perrysburg/Toledo

My room smelled like a dog or some other animal had been in it, and I saw roaches in the bathroom. I checked out right away, completely inconvenienced. I reported it to the two staff members at the front desk, but they didn’t refund the money to my credit card. They gave me the manager’s card and said I’d have to talk to him about a refund. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. No stars at all.

The price was phenomenal, and the location is handy, right off the highway with lots of restaurants around. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. I was surprised how great it was. The only downside was that there wasn’t a hot breakfast, though they do tell you it’s an on-the-go breakfast. Great stay.

The beds are comfy, and for the price I don’t mind that the rooms are outdated and a bit dingy. I did have a fridge, but it was all kinds of loud and annoying.

Check-in and checkout were very fast, and the location is good for our visits. But room 266 smelled like cigarettes as soon as I walked in. Air fresheners might help with that. There were stains on the blankets and sheets. If washing and bleaching don’t remove them, they really ought to throw those items out. I also found a dead bedbug. That makes me think they’ve had a problem before or might still have one, though I wasn’t bitten. Under and around the beds was dirty. I know you get what you pay for, but housekeeping should do better, since the dirt could attract more bugs. I hope they make these changes.
