Mohican Lodge and Conference Center

The Lodge restaurant was a happy surprise when I remembered to include it. The food was delicious, and our server was outstanding and flexible about what we needed before a day of golf. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and accommodating, and the price was excellent. Our mattress was hard and sagged, though, and there was an off-putting smell in the lobby when we checked in that thankfully didn’t reach the rooms. Thanks for responding to my earlier review and looking into those issues. This was my first trip to Mohican Lodge, and it’s a wonderful place to stay. We also enjoyed Landols Mohican Castle when we stayed there a couple of years ago.

The Lodge has several cozy spots to sit, read, or chat quietly, and the pool was clean and well kept. We were a little disappointed there wasn’t a hot tub, but still had a great time. Our room was tidy and the bed was comfortable. We spent four nights at Mohican State Park Lodge for our family’s February mini reunion, an annual getaway for a big part of the family, and it was just what we needed. The staff greeted us warmly and were genuinely helpful. Once home, I realized I’d left my magnifying mirror attached to the bathroom mirror in our room. It took a second check after some initial confusion, but the staff found it and kindly shipped it back. I really appreciated that, along with the hospitality, especially from Kirsta, I believe that was her name. It was a peaceful, refreshing visit and gave us good family time. We’re looking forward to coming back.

The location is beautiful, but I left with mixed feelings after Mother's Day Brunch. The brisket was really good, while the rest of the food was sadly overcooked and bad. Service was so-so. I also left a jacket and called to have it sent back. I paid for the shipping, they agreed, but it never arrived.

The staff were so friendly and on top of everything, I wish I could give them all more than five stars. My family had a wonderful time at the Mohican Lodge. The clean, lovely rooms and delicious food made it feel more like a cozy inn. Compliments to the chef and restaurant staff. We’re already looking forward to going back.
