A couple of other guests were inconsiderate, though I can't blame the hotel for how they behaved. I stayed three days, and everything from check-in through departure went smoothly. Check-in was quick, and Riz was friendly and welcoming. My room was clean, comfortable, nicely updated, and smelled good. The bathroom was roomy, with nice bath products, lots of grab bars, and decent water pressure. I slept well, and appreciated the microwave, fridge, large satellite TV, and breakfast selection.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the place is easy to find, clean, and close to I80. My room was quiet, had no bad smells, and I didn't see any bugs. The staff could have been more welcoming, but nothing was actually bad. I saw someone call the place ghetto, which I think is completely untrue. If this seems ghetto to you, maybe you've never really seen it and should stay at a five-star hotel. I also don't think the photos someone posted of supposed bedbugs look like bedbugs.
The employees were super kind, and the place was a lot cleaner than another one I stayed at nearby. My AC was blowing warm air even at 63 degrees. As soon as I let them know, they replaced it with a brand-new unit.
I thought this place was decent at first, and the hallways were quiet. Then I saw a bug on the floor but didn't think much of it. I needed to stay through that night, but left after getting so sick. My husband came up to the room and found bedbugs, plus another bug neither of us could identify. I'd never seen bedbugs before, and finding them was horrible. I called the front desk between 6 and 8 p.m. and told the man working until 11 that he needed to inspect the room or do something. He said they didn't have any bugs. I'd seen other reviews saying people found the same thing and had bites. He offered another room or to have the room I was in cleaned, but by then we were grossed out, especially since my husband hadn't realized what the bugs were at first. He said the previous person who reported bedbugs only wanted a refund. Our home wasn't usable, so we expected better, and everything we had in the room had to be thrown out. I wasn't taking any of it home, so I put it in the garbage. When I called to report it, he got defensive, and it felt like he was basically calling me a liar. This stay and what happened at our place put us in a really bad spot. I want something done about it.
I went back to this hotel because I usually like staying here, apart from the hot tub. The pool area still smelled like a hot swamp, the water was green and looked thick, and there were dead bugs in and around the tub. I didn't get in this time. I thought it would have been cleaned by now. I've added more photos. What on earth is happening in there? On our earlier visit, the hot tub looked fine at first, but after we'd been in it a while, foam built up with a dark green-brown substance along the surface and edges. I kept catching a smell like algae, so we got out and showered. A day or two later, my son developed an itchy, bumpy red rash all over his body. I believe it was hot tub rash, or pseudomonas folliculitis, which is caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa in poorly sanitized hot tubs and can appear 12 to 48 hours after exposure.
