Doubletree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport

The hotel’s location is the only thing I can say in its favor. The room was very dusty, apparently because of the air system, and uncomfortable to spend time in. It had carpet even though the room seemed remodeled. The bed looked comfortable but sank too much and left me with significant back pain overnight. At the coffee shop, the attendant was extremely rude and the order took more than 40 minutes. I gave up and ordered through Uber Eats. The service felt completely unprofessional and not guest-focused. Renovations are underway, but the property feels chaotic, with construction noise and workers all over. I only learned today there’d be no running water from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with no proper notice. Between that, the dust, noise, bed, and service, this has been a terrible stay. I definitely don’t recommend this hotel.

It’s a great spot for food, the stadiums, and the airport, and there’s a restaurant and lounge on site. For an airport view, you want floor 5 or higher. The pool was comfortable, though not warm, and the room felt freezing when I got out. The rooms and bathrooms have a fresh remodel, but somehow the old, stained, nasty tub was left behind. Parking was $30 a night, which wasn’t disclosed anywhere, and I was charged twice. Some people at the front desk acted nice and put on a good show. Still, I’ll be staying again, no doubt. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the whole place felt spotless, well kept, and calm, with an upscale feel. The lobby scent was welcoming as soon as I walked in. The staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help with a smile. The bed was incredibly comfortable, one of the best hotel nights of sleep I’ve had. It exceeded my expectations, and I’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting comfort and top-tier service.

Winnie at the restaurant in the bar really made us feel special. She went above and beyond, and the courteous, friendly staff are what will bring us back to the Double Tree Philadelphia Airport. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating from the minute we arrived. Thank you, Winnie. See you on our next trip!
