Fairfield Inn by Marriott Philadelphia Airport

The room was too small for our family of five, with just two queen beds. The airport location was convenient, but the welcome from staff was poor. We were told breakfast ran until 9:30, yet when we arrived at 9:01 there was nothing left. The breakfast staff shut everything down right on time and showed no sympathy for the kids and families still waiting. It wasn't a good stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.

There’s no airport shuttle, just so you know. The staff were really kind and helpful, though. I left my earbuds behind, and the housekeeper had turned them in. Josef at the front desk helped get them back to me. You learn a lot about a staff when something goes wrong, and they handled it so well.

The only handy thing about this hotel is how close it is to the airport. There’s just one microwave for the whole place, down in the common area, and the elevator only seems to work properly about half the time. Staff were rude whenever we dealt with them, day or night.

At about 4 AM, after realizing our previous hotel was dangerous and gross, we got in touch with Albert, I think that was his name. He accommodated us right away. I was stressed because our flight was less than eight hours away, but check-in went smoothly and before long we were safely in our room and asleep. Clean, friendly, and just what we needed for a short stay before an early flight. Would recommend 10/10.
