Four Points By Sheraton Philadelphia Airport

The staff were kind and helpful, breakfast was good, and the airport shuttle made the location convenient. The beds were comfortable, but the hotel has seen better days, with a lot of wear in the rooms. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, and the shower-tub in my room didn't drain properly. At 1 in the morning, a guest who was probably drunk woke me by screaming in the hall. That was the only real downside, and it wasn't the hotel's fault. They got the situation under control quickly.

Staff were very nice and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. We stayed for one night before flying the next day and left our car in the lot while we were away. The front desk told us how to get a good parking rate, $6.99 a day. The shuttle runs to the airport every 20 minutes, and we had no problems at all.

The woman who checked me in and the maintenance man were both very nice. That's why I didn't give the stay one star. As a Marriott Gold member, though, I'm shocked this is a Marriott property. I guess quality varies by location. My room was really bad: the tub was filthy and there was hair on the pillowcase. I've had better rooms at Holiday Inn. It didn't seem like the people running the place cared about quality.

We chose the Four Points because it was close to the airport for our 6:30am flight from Philly. We usually stay at Marriott properties and have generally had great experiences, but this was the worst and scariest stay we've had. Around 1am, someone got into our room. My partner yelled at them to leave, they exchanged words, and the person left. My partner called the front desk, but the man there didn't believe him. He said he'd send security after we insisted, but nobody came, so we had to call again. There were no cameras and no apology. We felt unsafe and unsupported, called corporate to complain, and couldn't sleep after the intrusion. We left a couple of hours later to get ready for our flight. Earlier, when we arrived, the first thing we heard was, “Check-in is at 3,” with no other greeting. They did let us leave our bags while we went into the city, about 30 minutes away. We finally checked in at 8pm. The receptionist then was great, courteous, and friendly. We were in bed by 10 so we could sleep before the 5am shuttle, but after this experience we won't stay at the Four Points in Philly again.
