We stayed in the Evening Star, and the patio had an incredible view of the city skyline. The place feels charming and homey, with gorgeous vintage furniture, and museums are about a mile away on foot. Since the new management came in early February 2026, the owner Lisa seems to really care about guests and has been restoring the property quickly. When we arrived, she'd owned it for about a week and our room still needed a few finishing touches. We didn't mind, but she insisted on buying us breakfast at a nearby cafe. It was packed and looked like a local favorite. I grew up in the northeast and loved the historic feel. Can't recommend it enough.

The room looked beautiful and the location was great. I really enjoyed chatting with Brooke, the innkeeper. Loved staying here and would definitely recommend it :)

The property was calm and quiet, and the bed was big and comfortable. There were extra pillows and blankets in the room. I loved the feel of the place and was glad I chose it over a regular hotel. I came to Philly for a concert and stayed two nights in the Autumn Mist. Britney was fantastic and accommodating. Bring slippers if you don't like cold wood floors. And say hi to the cats, they're super friendly!

The place and room were adorable, but maintenance started at 7am. Loud knocks and other sounds woke us up, and we couldn't get back to sleep. That was especially hard after an early flight the night before, since we'd hoped to sleep in. We were only in Philly for 24 hours, and it affected our visit. I won't stay here again for that reason.

We stayed in the Autumn Mist and loved it. The room was spacious, the bed really comfortable, and the hotel was beautifully decorated and had a unique feel. The location was convenient too. Highly recommend, and I can't wait to come back.
