Residence Inn Philadelphia Center City

The staff were informative and responsive, and gave us a late checkout at 2 PM without any hassle. We also got a free upgrade to a 1 BR King master suite, with a full kitchen stocked with china and silverware. Room service came every other day. The location is very convenient, across from the City Hall, and the hotel serves free hot breakfast daily. I'd highly recommend it for events at the Convention Center, about two short blocks away.

What mattered most to our family was how the staff treated us during a stressful, emotional hospital admission. We had to extend our stay one day at a time, and every interaction felt compassionate and human. The employees were kind, empathetic, and flexible, and that understanding made a huge difference. We'll remember it. The hotel is very pet-friendly and welcomes large dogs. The fee is reasonable for a city hotel, $25 per day, capped at $150 per stay. They really accommodate pet owners. The Center City location is fantastic, with everything walkable, and it works well for medical visits, business, or leisure. Our room was comfortable, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out for a longer stay. It felt like somewhere we could settle in and breathe. Parking was expensive, but in line with other city-center hotels and expected for downtown Philadelphia. Between the comfort, location, pet-friendly approach, and outstanding staff, the Residence Inn Philadelphia Center City went above and beyond. We are deeply grateful, would recommend it without hesitation, and would absolutely return if we need a hotel in Philly again.

The room temperature kept swinging all over the place, which cost this stay a star. The valet team was amazing, though, and Dillon at the front desk quickly went out of his way to sort out an issue. Breakfast was good, and the staff there were excellent. The location was convenient too.

We'd stay here again. The location is super central, with great views, and the free breakfast was great. Our room was comfortable and mostly spacious, though there are lots of room types and some quirks. The bathroom's glass half door is an odd design choice, and the pull-out bed in my room was a bit flat, but still not totally uncomfortable. Heat and AC responded well, and the internet was fast. There isn't much room out front to load or unload.
