The Bellevue Hotel - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

The one-bedroom suite felt like my own apartment, it was that comfortable. I also loved how the historic character of The Bellevue goes along with such careful upkeep. The guest services team were warm and professional. I even used the Sporting Club gym, which says a lot since I never work out on vacation. This is officially one of my favorite stays, and I can't wait to come back.

The front desk team made a strong impression with their welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. My room was spacious and well appointed, but the air conditioning didn't work, and the temperature stayed at 78 degrees throughout my stay. I managed, though sleeping without a comfortable room temperature was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. The valet price also felt steep, so next time in Philadelphia I'll probably look into local parking options.

I had a pleasant one-night stay in a hotel with beautiful décor and a comfortable, well-appointed room. The front desk were friendly and professional, and arrival went smoothly. Dinner service staff were welcoming and attentive too. There were a couple of communication hiccups. The host at Sunday brunch seemed overwhelmed, which took away from the experience a little. And although I had guaranteed late checkout, housekeeping still knocked on my door. A few things could be better, but it's a high-quality hotel and I'd gladly stay again.

I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms, but I attended a very successful fundraising event hosted by the Oblates of St. Francis to Sales. The ballroom was magnificent, and the hotel felt elegant, lively, and warm. The cocktail hour could have been the main event, with drinks and an extraordinary spread of food stations featuring offerings from different cultures around every corner. The staff offered Grade A hospitality and were always close by. On South Broad Street, the hotel is convenient to all of Love Town's charms. The mayor gave an excellent speech, and by the time she finished, everyone seemed ready to move to Philly. :)
