The suite on the 1st floor at The Dwight D was a great fit for my special weekend in Philly. I'm a Philadelphia native and have stayed in a dozen or more hotels in CC, but this was a nice change from the usual. The location is as good as any in the city, especially city center, and I was two blocks from Kimmel. I was already in a euphoric mood for a special occasion, seeing a world-class solo violinist, one of the greatest musicians I've known, with the Philadelphia Orchestra three days in a row. The room had classic old-school furniture, hardwood floors that creaked a little in a charming way, a huge bed with good linens and a comfortable firmness, and a spacious split layout with two TVs. The waterfall shower, huge tub, and easy-to-use effective HVAC were great. Toiletries and other complimentary items were high quality. Pro tip: bring cushy flips. Take your time learning the setup and read the ad thoroughly. Vittoria and Ken were polite, kind, attentive, and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable asking for help if I needed it. The office is open all night, security lets you come and go as you please, and you get privacy in the heart of the city near lots of restaurants. Coffee and tea are available all the time. I'll definitely come back for another special night in Philly.

They upgraded our room without us asking, and Victoria and Ken were a great help with dinner plans. Their picks were just right for us, we loved the meal. I've stayed at quite a few hotels lately, and this was my favorite experience. It's a lovely, quaint, welcoming hotel, an ace for me.

I've stayed at many hotels, and this is one of the best. It's a boutique hotel in a beautiful old building, with a renovated, amazing room, an excellent bed, and a luxuriously equipped bathroom. Every detail feels cared for, and it's clean and comfortable throughout. The location is very good, and the hosts Vittoria and Ken were wonderful. Highly recommended.

The location made everything easy, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and we’d happily stay again on our next trip. My husband and I spent three nights at the Dwight D after our nephew, who’s lived locally all his life, recommended it. The design and architecture are beautiful, and the place is full of thoughtful touches: Tea Forte, L'Occitane amenities, maps, bottled still water, Nespresso, lovely bedding and robes. The owners were extremely helpful, and their two darling dogs wander in and out.

Such a nice little getaway. The room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. We came for a short trip and will definitely be back. There are lots of local sights and restaurants within walking distance.
