The historic B&B is beautifully decorated and close to lots of attractions, and our children enjoyed it so much. The owners are wonderful people, and breakfast was excellent. They went above and beyond to make all 12 of us in the family comfortable.

We stayed overnight during a layover, and this was a great option in a quiet part of West Philadelphia. Cesar was a warm, friendly host. We had to head out before the usual breakfast time, so he kindly left us banana bread and water. It would also be a great base for exploring Philadelphia.

Breakfast was a lovely chance to talk with guests of all ages, from 26 to 60+, which felt rare in this fast-paced, digital world. We also liked being close to Clark Park and its Saturday morning farmers market. Jeanette and Cesar were great hosts, and the thoughtful details around the house, from the decorations to the yummy breakfast, made the stay unforgettable. We had the best time at the Gables Bed and Breakfast and would highly recommend spending time there.

We loved the food and hospitality at The Gables, and highly recommend it. The rooms and common areas are full of amazing period pieces. Walking through the door feels like stepping back in time. It's a beautifully restored Victorian home in a quaint Philadelphia neighborhood, and we spent the weekend there in August.

We felt at home as soon as we arrived, and the innkeepers had made us feel welcome from the moment we booked. I chose the South Room for my 14-year-old daughter and me. The Victorian mansion is gorgeous, and the room, like every other room and common area, is beautifully decorated with delightful antiques. The covered front porch is a lovely spot to sit back and relax.
