The staff at the front desk were great, and helped a lot when my key card stopped working at midnight. It turned out the card itself was the problem. The beds were nice, the room was comfortable, and breakfast was simple and easy. It’s also a great location for the festival grounds at wild horse pass. Our temperature control unit didn’t work, so the room felt stuffy by morning, though in December it wasn’t a deal-breaker for us. We booked two queens, but they were closer to twin or double size, a little small for two adults. I’d stay again.

We only stayed one night, but the room was spacious and clean, the location was fantastic, and the service was friendly and professional. When we thought our cat had gotten out, the young man at the desk stayed calm and knew exactly where cats tend to hide. Bless his heart, losing a furry family member can make people panic and act their worst. The breakfast buffet had good coffee and the food selection was plentiful and just what we expected. Every staff member we met was pleasant and helpful.

The service was phenomenal, and the rooms were lovely, with a big shower, hot water, a comfortable bed, and very effective AC. Breakfast was good, although the same each morning. The staff were friendly, apart from the woman putting out breakfast, who scowled when I said good morning. We’d stay again, but I wouldn’t bring my dog because of the health risk from dog poop left around the grounds. It’s unsightly and smelly, and the establishment should clean it up even though owners are responsible for their own dogs. I’d also deadbolt the room each night. A few things could’ve been better. Some TV remote buttons didn’t work, and the TV froze at times. Our key cards barely worked on the back door. We later learned its locking mechanism had completely stopped working, so people could just open the door and come in freely.

The lack of staff response was disappointing. I reported the room’s condition at the front desk, and was told, “We have new housekeepers,” but nobody came to clean it. The bathroom wasn’t very clean on arrival, with hair left by a previous guest, floors that hadn’t been vacuumed properly, and broken plastic and dirt along the baseboards and in the corners. My key card also gave me trouble from the start. I had to get it reprogrammed a couple of times, and still needed several swipes every time I opened the door.
