Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Airport

The housekeeping team kept our room in great shape and showed real care. Even with the Do Not Disturb sign up, they checked in when they saw us heading out, which felt attentive and respectful. We also had a full kitchen with scrub daddy sponges, which made us laugh. Maritza at the front desk made us feel welcome right away. She was warm, professional, and thoughtful, noticed it was my birthday, and surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. Check-in took under five minutes, and she was lovely with our family. We’ve stayed at lots of Marriott hotels, but this was one of our most memorable visits. It’s the kind of kindness and care that keeps my fiancé and me choosing Marriott as proud Gold members.

I couldn’t fly because I was sick, so I had to cancel and couldn’t stay at this hotel. I explained my situation to the hotel manager and asked if I could avoid a charge, but she wouldn’t make an exception. Then I contacted general manager Mike Comer. He refunded the charge even though he was on vacation and away from the hotel. He understood what had happened and knew I was a loyal Marriot customer and Platinum member. I’ll remember what Mike Comer did for me, and I’ll stay here when I’m in Phoenix.

Gabriel was great all the way from check-in to checkout. His personality is the kind that helps a business thrive, and he’s an asset to the hotel. I could have gone to a different hotel for my second night, but his presence made me stay. If he’s due for a raise, please give it to him without hesitation. I wish I could take him back to Georgian with me. Great job, Gabriel, and what a beautiful smile!

I enjoyed a few nights here on my trip to Phoenix. When I chose to extend my stay, I found a furnished place around the Brill Street area, not too far from the airport. It’s a quiet neighborhood with convenient access to downtown and the freeways, a good setup if you want more room and comfort for a longer stay.
